How is Anthony Carter on both lists?

    BTW, tampering ftw! Woo-hoo!

Also, push Zach Thomas to #2 on that list...

Rick Norton QB from Kentucky was the very first biggest bust. He was supposed to be the second coming of Joe Namath and Miami gave him a big contract for that time period. He was the second pick of the first round in 1966. He played 4 years with the Dolphins and had 6 TDs and 30 Ints and a QB rating of 28.1. He spent 1 year with Green Bay at the end of his career appearing in 3 games.

How is a 5th rounder a bust, they took a flier on Collins, the 5th round or later is when to take fliers on guys.

Jason Allen should not be on that list.

Good to see that it is possible to land a player like Zach Thomas in the 5th round

Hopefully our mid to late round draft picks prove useful

Ted Ginn should not be on the list. Jason Allen should not be on the list. John Avery and Eddie Blake should be. TG and JA shouldn't have been picked where they were, but were active for most of their games (if not all) here. Avery and Blake were complete jokes.

Zach Thomas should be #1 on the list. We picked a guy no one wanted...Everyone knew Marino had first round talent. The whole league just whiffed on ZT. JT is too high as well...he was picked in the third round. You at least have reasonable expectations for a third rounder.

Lets just hope come this weekend, the guys we pick belong on the first part of that list, not the second.

Why do you guys think Zach is a better pick then Marino?
I love Zach but you cant get any better than one of the greatest QBs ever and in my eyes he is the best QB ever.

So he was only a little bit better than Namath?

Better only because the value, Zach was a 5th and that kinda talent out of the 5th round is very rare. Zach is one of the all time steals imo

to some extent, i have to agree. He's going to play out his contract. Might even get resigned at a very cheap rate. Something tells me Jason Allen ends up like Nate Jones. Not stellar but good enough to hang around a roster for the duration of his career.

    Could be worse.

You can call Ginn a disappointment or a bust if you wish, I don't think he's a bust so much as a disappointment. However, I don't think he deserves to be grouped with the names Randal Hill & Yatil Green. Just IMO.
