Thoughts?

I don't know enough about him to have thoughts. Not sure how often he saw the field. If those are stats from his starts ONLY he might be decent rotation depth at end.

Don't know much about him but he is St. Thomas alum so I like him already. We need all the pass rush help we can get.

That was disappointing because I saw defensive end and was expecting Mark Anderson.

Never heard of him so he must be a real high energy, high impact type of guy.

Here's the PFF cliff notes version:
- He had solid ratings vs the run and the pass and average in 59 coverage attempts.
- PFF has him for 4 sacks, 5 QB hits, and 9 pressures in 153 snaps as a pass rusher. That breaks down to getting to the QB in some form 1 out of every 8.5 snaps. Thats a better rate then any front 7 player on the Jets or Dolphins aside from Aaron Maybin and Cam Wake. By comparison Westerman was at the Qb at about the same rate that Julius Peppers was at the QB. And before anyone hits the button the hype machine, by no means does this mean he will Julius Peppers good. Just means he has maybe more potential then previously thought. -

Good depth for sure, but we need more impact players.
I don't have confidence in getting Anderson but that would be a huge signing if we can pull it off. -
-
In other words,he's a baller and will bring it on every play.
This will be his chance to show his skill-set. Good addition...Boik14 likes this. -

Ireland's hearing the message of the protest! Finally! Clearly a response to the Bills signing of Mario Williams! Take that Buffalo!!!!!!
Now the Bills are entertaining DE Mark Anderson ... Wonder who will sign in response to that? Maybe convince Eric Kumerow to come out of retirement?sws84 likes this. -

This is the most incompetent front office I have ever seen. Give up all hope now.
:p
I don't really think this is worthy of a thread type news, but it seems like he's decent depth. I just hope he knows his special teams since he'll hopefully be in a reserve role.sws84 likes this. -
Yeah it's kind of a roster filler move but hopefully he turns out to be a nice part of our rotation. I can't wait for the draft.

i agree on both counts -
Bills sign Mark Anderson

Bills are able to outbid anyone for anyone this year. Not that surprised.
If they want someone bad enough they will put them out of everyone elses price range. -
Only reason Bills are signing anyone is because of the salary floor.
Not to mention for Wanny's defense to work he needs 2 high pressure DE's and at least 1 good DT and a solid DT. Otherwise it falls apart. -

Well, in lieu of what the Bills have done, I'm just glad we were able to sign RT Eric Winston to get a bonafide starting NFL RT in the fold ....
Wait ...
