damn....:pity: Get well brother Nate
-
he'll be behind now but he sticks imo
big, young and versatile. fits the mold. nate garner is left out of too many OL conversations here
he just might be a big part of that rotational system that is so popular these days :wink2: -
That blows

That's a really big blow to this team if he's gonna be out an extended period of time. He is young, strong and talented. He displayed his versatility last year against Carolina. He started the game at left guard for the injured Justin Smiley. However, through the course of the game with injuries to both Jake Grove and Vernon Carey he wound up playing LG, RG, C, RT and TE in the goal line package. That's 5 positions in one game. And if you go back and look at the tape, he wasn't just filling in. He was producing.

we really make too much out of OTAs and minicamps. If they're there for training camp, they're fine. we signed pennington a week before our first preseason game, then he went on to start all 16 games for us.
Cion-Dolfan likes this. -
partial install now but it takes time
we should be happy that henne is in the conversation
like him -
While it's cliche to say, cliches are said for a reason. playing football is mostly mental. If a player knows what he's supposed to do, and keeps his body in shape to do it, he won't miss a beat. As long as Garners paying attention, continuing to learn the playbook, and staying in as good a shape as he can while recovering, he'll likely have a very good shot at starting, or being the all around backup we need. -

Is putting Stick'em on players' bones illegal? We have too many injuries.
