Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

i just want a dolphin that is not wearing a helmet

 

I was never a fan of the Dolphins because of their colors or their logo. Just because I'm from South Florida. If I picked my favorite team based on colors, Miami would be at the bottom of the list. The aqua and orange reminds me of a carnival or a circus. So unless they are planning to change the colors to my delight, I don't really care what they do.

 

I think the Silver helmet is awesome, I'd love to see the Dolphins add it to their color scheme.

 

The logo needs to emphasize the speed of the dolphin, rather than trying to make it look more mean as they have with the most recent changes. There is no such thing as a mean dolphin, but there is such a thing as a fast dolphin, and speed is also something important in football.

 

theres one better than that Taz, it's been posted a million times, has an aqua one, a grey one, and a white one, all standing up in similar fashion and lights, has a better helmet, I can't post it on this thing..but I'm telling you it's better.you would love it.

THIS is much closer to the color where the real dolphins play!

There ought to be a name for those things besides "frog stranglin', lighter know floatin', gulley washers!"

Apparently you have not watched many dolphin documentaries.

That white on white with the aqua and orange bands on the shoulder pads is as perfect as it gets.

 

They didn't say anything about uniforms though...might just keep them the same and replace the current logo with the "new" logo?

I like the old logo and current logo (I'm assuming it will have the current sun, and a Dolphin with less features like the old one?) so I assume i'll like this. I hope they at least use less navy blue now that we know they aren't getting rid of it. Also wonder if the Aqua will be lighter like on the old logo.

Any idea when we will see this logo?

Good news is you can get cheap current Dolphins logo gear soon, since the logo is similar it won't matter. Get it now before they start releasing it as "retro" in 5 years...

OT - adam schefter just posted on FB that David Garrard was cleared by doctors TODAY to begin working out for teams....TODAY !!! his knee must have been pretty ****ed up

 

I'm guessing that's what you'll see, especially if the logo is following that approach.

I could see the return of the sleeve stripes and the dropping of the drop-shadow on the numerals, with perhaps a new numerical font to make it look a bit more modern.

 

I read somewhere that they are one of the few animals that have sex purely for fun and not only to procreate. That's as Baller as it gets. And yes they do rape, hide your kids and wife.

 

Get rid of the grey one and keep the other two. I'd be set.

I think they should keep the sun on the helmet, but replace the dolphin with a "M" in the the font they use for "Dolphins".

Change the striping scheme on the helmet and keep the pearl finish.

The jersey...go with the striping similar to the early 80's.

The pants..minimal striping, and simple accents like the Saints. Solid colors, and keep the alternate logo (the Dolphin and sun) on the pants.

The Number fonts...go back to the 70's fonts, but make them bigger.

 

I hope the navy is subtle

GUYS I Love the logo as is but its time to have a second color helmet and my reason is that when the seahawks changed unis they have a renewed images and its helping them.

 

It was easy. You teed it up nicely for me.

I used to be the same.
But pretty soon my morning dump is gonna be a bedtime dump.
