Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

The thing is, I don't necessarily think it's the logo that people who want to change, it's the scheme of colors..if you were to take this uniform, and just modernize the logo a bit, would it not be the best choice so far?.... Basically what I mean is you can put practically any new logo of a dolphin on that look and it's gonna win every time.

If you look at all the animal or mammal logos in the league, it's a close up of the face of the animal, that usually is expressing or looking like strong or aggressive..think broncos, ravens, cardinals.

To me that logo is bad sick..it has zero life to me.

Dislike the grey, a lot. It is not that unique to be honest because college teams all over the place are using it.

Our colours are aqua, orange and white (with a navy blue accent colour if required). They are already unique. We don't need to re-invent the wheel in my opinion.

I like the all whites. The aqua tops need to have the white pants. I am not a fan of the grey tops or pants. That's just me. Other than that, those are my favorite that I have seen recently. I know those have been around a couple years now on various sites, but still my favorite.

They got rid of the drop shadow numbers, no more navy, went back to grey face masks, and the old logo. What's not to like... especially in the case of the all whites? The only thing I might change is the shade of aqua more toward the early 70's and the shade of coral from the mid 80's.

I wrote a detailed plan for these unis a few pages back lol. Essentially, grey pants would be away and white pants for home. Home jersey would depend on time of day and away jersey based on opponent

I want the aqua from the stripes on the sleeves from this picture, this was also used on the aqua jerseys, only I want it carried over to the numbers and logo:

I would like the coral from the border of the numbers in this picture and also carried over to the logo and stripes:

Personally, I think that is one of the problems we've had over the years. We've had one shade of aqua and coral on the logo and a different shade of aqua and coral on the uniforms. I know that changed when we went to teal (which I never liked) but the damn drop shadow and navy was also added at the same time.

I think a perfect example of this type of occurrence can e seen in one of our members signatures. The one with Brian Hartline flying through the air headed to the end zone. You can clearly see that the aqua socks and stripes on the pants are a completely different shade of those on the jersey. I'll go look for it and post it here when I find it.

Maybe it's just me... or perhaps it's the use of different materials, but the following is what I am talking about:

The socks, stripes on the pants don't look to be the same as the numbers on the jersey, not to mention the stripes and logo on the helmet.

Like I said, it may be more of a material thing today, but if you go back and look at the very first picture here, you can plainly see that there is much more green in the logo and numbers than the stripes on the sleeve... the same goes with the coral on the color surrounding the numbers on Marino's jerseys and the stripes on the sleeves, pants and helmet.

I kind of like this the concept. Not necessarily the actual logo, but the way it looks on the helmet.

IF, I had to make a choice with a change in the logo, and it were one of the more ''radical'' changes...I would prefer this one..

It looks more like a logo without the cartoon character in some of the proposals..

But my preference over all is the throwbacks...

of course, that's because I and an old ........

Mike Dee just stated a few minutes ago on Joe Rose's show that any logo already seen is not the new logo. Nothing has been leaked.

Update on new logo

Well I'm glad he finally said something. To be honest, he was smart to not say a word till now with all the negative comments because people are more prone to like the new logo compared to the one they thought. Also I wonder if he knows about the latest leak.

I really just want to see the dam thing already! Good or bad, I'm sure we'll learn to love it.

Hmmmm, I kind of like it. Especially the aqua blue coloring instead of aqua green. Been screaming for that change forever.

Being a longtime Dolphins fan I created this Logo just for fun, I wanted to be sleek and with attitude, I know it's a radical change for some but that was my intention. Not that it's ever going to be used or anything, I'm sure the official logo is been finalized for some time now. This is the lates version with a little bit of the old.

While I'm not at all a fan of the change to our logo at all.
The one below struck me as I glanced over it.
I could live with this one if it had to change.

As long as navy goes, I like the above too
