He definitely has had his issues, but I think this is something positive which should get us all a bit excited because I think he's going to turn out to be a surprise and a steal. From what I've heard, he's been looking real good in camp and is making a bunch of INTs. You all think we could use some of that mojo???

Well Deej said he thinks he could be our Bob Sanders, so we shall see, that would be awesome if he were.
Side note, did read Clyde Gates dad pulled 18 yrs for murder.
Who said Irish doesn't take enough chances...

Irish still is criticized for the Dez Bryant stuff, he has brought in:
-Bess who spent a yr in jail
-Wilson who spent 2 yrs
-Gates who had a troubled background as well
-Brandon Marshall whose problems were well documented
-Tony McDaniel who broke a classmates jaw at UT
-Kept Merling, a fact that surprised even Phillip who was happy to still have a job
Think he asked them tough questions as well? -
In other words, he wasn't just found "not guilty" due to insufficient evidence. He was found INNOCENT due to the fact that the evidence proved he was not the murderer. ;) -
I don't think people understand the reasoning behind Ireland's "Is your mom a hooker?" question.padre31 likes this. -
I didn't even know Bess spent a year in jail.

I could run a calendar based on every time I see these Jimmy Wilson 2nd chance at life articles...Ad Nauseum.

Deej may be off base about Wilson though, Sanders was 206 or so, Wilson is 186, and not really developed, he is no Y Bell. -

Bob Sanders was a guy that I wanted to go after this offseason, Top 5 favorite player for me..padre31 likes this. -
As for Wilson as Bob Sanders, we will now soon enough, Sanders made a fact impact with the Colts, like 27 tackles in his first couple of games, and it is good to see you go out on a limb a bit. -
If Wilson can be 75% of what Sanders was, sans the injuries, I'll be happy.

The first trial had a hung jury. He faced trial again and was acquitted. Guilty, not guilty and innocent are all different.
I get sick of lazy people.

Here I'll give you a few this offseason I'am on the record for.
How bout this one SirPodster..after rewind, I'am on the record about our teams ascension in this 4th year, FU%$ OPTIMISM... our team is young and loaded with talent..SH$$, don't you know I'am on the board of the ''goody goody rah rah club...The Miami Dolphins..The most underrated team in football...
We'll get rid of both Ricky, Ronnie, and Cobbs..
Chad Henne deserved to be the starter again based on variables that were going against him, and how he performed before the benching..hmmm.
We'll adddress certain weaknesses that were identified, thru the draft and free agency...Rebuilt running back unit..Speed receiver..Scatback/returner...H-back..interior line upgrades, inside linebacker.
Crowder needs to be cut..
Carey is a liability out there.
Ckap and Dalton were in my top 5 when a lotta folks were dissing them and calling them 4 to 5th round picks...
Mallett is gonna drop.
We would take offensive players with our first 4 picks..
Sparano and this staff deserve this 4th year without the BS criticism..They've have equaled or done a better job than any staff in history in terms of wins and losses after taking over the 1st pick, 3 years later..
Jimmy wilson= Bob Sanders...not yet man, not until I see him under the lights.. -

Noun: A judgment that a person is not guilty of the crime with which the person has been charged: "the trial resulted in an acquittal"
You didn't have to treat that new dude Andres so shabbily, especially when he was not wrong. -
-
An acquittal doesn't necessarily mean a person is innocent as I first thought.
However, "Innocent" and "not guilty" are not the same things.
If I came off as treating Andres harsh, I apologize to him that was not my intention. It was late, I had been awake for nearly 20 hours. I also re-read his last post and he was correct in that there is a difference between a hung jury and acquittal. I misread his post. However, I never said they were the same thing in the first place. -
Since you said I'm partly right, that means in your opinion I was not totally right. What about that post is not correct in your view? -
I took from your post that you thought "innocent" and "not guilty" were one in the same. That's where I think you were partly wrong. If that's not what you think, then you're not wrong at all. In fact, this is what my point has been all along...that "not guilty" does not equal "innocent". Where I was wrong is when I mistakenly thought one of my college prof's said that "acquittal" equaled "innocent".MrClean likes this.
