patrick orande gadsden turner may wind up a pleasant surprise in 2010 an All-American, played basket ball & ran track drafted out of high school #1 in the country had a great senior year @ USC w/10 TD's huge receiver w/ long arms, good hands runs solid routes, beats the jam & will block this may very well be his year to make his bones like Gadsden, he is a potential RedZoneWeapon Turner @ 6'5"/223, well coached & football smart needs only the opportunity to step up & he will
They kept Turner for some reason other than him being an early draft choice. I just don't see Parcells keeping someone for vanity, just to keep from admitting a mistake. Hartline was an immediate success maybe Turner is one of those players who takes a little longer to transistion from the college to pro level?
there was an article that basically stated that he wouldn't do very well until he felt 'comfortable' ... maybe after a year in the system - he is ... we can only hope. one thing is for sure ... if the green light doesn't come on by the end of TC or he can't contribute in some fashion - i don't think this regime will continue to hold onto him.
No one cuts a rookie 3rd rounder. But now that other receivers will be brought into camp this year, you never know. He may not make the final roster come September. He may be cut before then or put on the practice squad if he doesn't step up
