By very good you mean average at best right? Soon as Ginn had that great game against the Jets, he did nothing more. Teams easily learned how to shut him down, take away the outside. Good riddance Ginn.

 

He had other good returns and got past the 20 most times. I am sorry he cant break 5 tackles every kick.

 

Very few. Ginn can't do anything up the middle. He's too scared. He takes it up the sideline EVERY single time. Plenty of better KR's to be had, good riddance Ginn.

 

thats not close to true. whats funny is you are getting upset because they cut a guy who did nothing and kept a guy who has at least been on the field.

Ginn was one of the better Kick Returners in the league so good luck finding better. Also he had more than a few good returns

 

Brennan Marion? Why would I be upset about him leaving? two ACL tears in two seasons, his career is over. Though I wish him luck because IIRC, he had a great story.

 

Take out that Jets game and he was one of the worst actually. 7th round. Plenty of better KR's who provide nothing else to the team can be had in the 7th round. Trindon Holliday and Thomas Harris among others come to mind. Wouldn't mind a Jacoby Ford in the 5th round either.

I will say I am as hard on the guy, and all over this board you can see my anti-ginn sentiment...but as the WR core stands now you cant cut him....the mere speed his has is a threat and defenses have to account for it......now with that being said it hasn't translated into success, there have been no 1000 yard receivers, 10+ TD, the chunk yardage passes are a rarity....

He was a rookie last year (iirc) but he played at USF and was signed towards the end of the season to the PS.

TGJ was ranked 5th in return yards, and 13 in return average. He had 2 TDs, which was the second most.

2socks, that list is stupid, and you know it. There are about 15 guys on that list with less than 10 returns. The fact that you wanted to use that list to make TGJ look bad is pathetic.
