The topic is whether or not the Nets are getting ammo for a trade with Denver before the deadline, not whether or not they’ll sign Carmelo in free agency next year.

The topic is the MIA Heat, not the Nets trade......

That's right don't throw stones when you are in a little glass house.

yeah i have to think carmelo is looking at whats happening in new york right now and thinking thats where he wants to be. he could be the big man in jersey no doubt but the media coverage he would bring by pairing up with stoudamire would be second to none.

Im finally back after some serious COD, and live poker sessions....and will not emberass myself anymore because I stooped to a classless level just like my lil buddies up there.

I will simply sit back and watch Lebron publicly humiliate himself with everything he has to say to the media...calling his popularity dropping a racial issue is nothing more than laughable. Lebron sticks out like a tird in the penthouse with class guys like Wade and Bosh....

I will ignore people who actually critique a player who scores 30 on his team by saying it was the sloppiest 30 of all time, some people have no logic and can never give credit where credit is due simply because they are blinded by HATE. (Nice defense on that dunk Lefraud)

As far as the thread goes Iam eating crow because ever since the trip to Cleveland this team has looked like the 2nd best team in basketball (Celts) and far from looking like the Washington Redskins. I was wrong.

I can only hope that when/if the Miami Dolphins are a good football team "I" dont sound like a jackass too.

    Yours Truely, Fin-O

So, Heat fans are jack asses because they defended their team after some jerkoff inexplicably compared them to the Washington Redskins (after less than a month into the season)? Got it. Enjoy Lebron humiliating himself, we'll enjoy being relevant.

You actually thought that Amare had a good game vs. the Heat with his 30?

He shot 10-23 in 43 minutes. That's 43% for a center. That is 11 points below his average. he had 7 rebounds. he scored 2 points in the 4th quarter till his phony stat padding move. He made 10 of 12 FT's and ran to the rim down 10 with less than 10 seconds left like a man desperately trying to get a 30 point game.

Yes..it was a sloppy 30. Not efficient. The WARDEN had him in jail.

Bosh on the other hand took half as many shots and put up a efficient 18 and 10.

BTW....Amare got lit up defensively as well. He had a bad game, period. He has had many great ones this year...it just so happens that he hasn't in the two games vs. the Team, the OP hates. Which is why I bring it up.

If there is anybody that gives credit where it is due, it is me.

Don't pretend that you didn't see the game.

BTW, Lebron shot a higher percentage than Amare as well.

You do know that if you shoot 85 shots and make 15 of them for a 30 point game...that's a terrible game?

I didnt see the game just the stat line, I wasnt going to go to the sports bar to watch a December NBA game....it wouldve been a nice win sure but honestly not all that relevant.

You know who Amare guarded exclusively in the 1st quarter? Big Z. What did Z do? 12 points and 9 rebounds in the 1st quarter.

You know who Amare guarded in the 3rd quarter? Chris Bosh. What did Bosh do? 10 points and 6 rebounds in the 3rd quarter.

In the 4th, D'Antoni saw enough and used him to roam.

    That explains it.

He was not good. If you look at the stat line alone you can see his inefficiency. if you watched the game, you scratch your head as to how he got 30 points. Then you see his FT's. and you see him do that BS move to get his 30 with 10 seconds left as the Heat just looked at him like "What is he doing?"

and I give plenty of credit. Tyson Chandler was great in the game. Gallinari was great in the 1st one.

    oh..and the game was "irrelevant"?

Well..it had to be relevant enough for you to make a post "warning" Heat fans of all the crap you were gonna talk if the Knicks won.

Congratulations! Between the original purpose of this thread and your admission that you don’t watch games, you too can work at ESPN!

Amare will never win any DPOY awards so the fact he was bad defensively shouldnt suprise anyone.

Nah. Barkley watches the games, he just lies about what happens in them. Fin-O isn’t doing that. He’s more pulling a Magic Johnson on Christmas. (See what I did there? :shifty: )

Man the Heat are way less fun to hate now that they are winning. If LeBron didn't put his foot in his mouth so much my whole Christmas would have been ruined.
