Here's the problem with that.
When you visit the Herald, their website is absolutely packed with ads from top to bottom....often breaking up the stories and making the page hard to follow.
I know newspapers are grasping to stay in business but spam ads are not the way to go if you want to build reader loyalty.
That's part of the reason they've had a steady decline in readership while independents are thriving.
With that said, there's no way I'm going to pay thirty bucks for spam ads and inconsistent journalism.
The "breaking news stories today"- we didn't sign Breeland, although there's still interest on both sides.
There's no practice breakdowns, no insights...nothing. They have to do better than that for a buck a day.
