    Tannehill was drafted as a project and was supposed to sit his first year so pointing out his flaws then means nothing. Projecting his ceiling and what flaws could be and couldn't be corrected is more meaningful and Tannehill has so far improved on his weaknesses and still very much trending upwards.

    I agree with this.

    He has done a great job at getting better every year at things. Be it pocket presence, deep ball anticipation, maneuvering in the pocket and so on.

    This is why it would be silly to think he isn’t our starter this year. You still need to draft a QB however.

    based on his not playing the past year and a half? He keeps this up he will be HOF for sure.

    I believe Thill was also Gase's ego check when it came to play calling in 2016. Moore and Cutler are gunslingers that say yes to everything. Thill is calculated and kept Gase honest.
