Miami @ St. Louis

OK guys, its getting close. Since several of us are traveling and may not see the computer again after the holiday, lets get the meet up plan together. Any ideas?

Man I can not wait for Sunday to get here. My first Dolphins game so I want it to be a win. We are driving up Sunday morning. Riding with a couple of other Dolphin fans. Only bad news is there will also be a Bills fan along for the ride.

 

Why is a bills fan going to a Rams Phins game?

 

Dude he lives in Arkansas...little bit more of a drive...


I'm just sayin...I dont care just harassing him. I live 30 minutes from Indy. I wouldnt go watch them....well, if the tix were free your right, I would.

 

The same group of us go to 2 or 3 games in St. Louis every year. This year we picked the Giants game and the Dolphin game. Of course he didnt get any takers for the Bills game there he had to go with his wife.

 

alright -I am on my way to Goat country.I got alittle grill and burgers. Hope to see some of you overthere.Straight east of the stadium.

So did you guys get to tailgate together? Any gameday experiences? How did the Rams fans treat you guys?

 

The Rams fans were fine. We probably came pretty close to outnumbering them. The amount of Phin support was unreal. The stadium had our colors all over. It was great. I couldn't find anyone from the site. The tailgating was harsh, it was so dam cold, but still fun.

 

Yeah, I saw a bunch of Fins fans on TV, but not that many. At least in the lower lower bowl. How many do you think were there?

 

I would say there were probably about 40% Fins fans, and we were much more vocal than the home team's fans. It was a weird atmosphere -- almost like a scrimmage.

 

idk...maybe they just stood out to me more. I would like to see a stat. on it though.

 

Its hard to be happy when your team sucks...been there done that.

 

Haha! So any particular, funny stories?

 

Also, I hate it when Mets/Jets/Bills/Patriots come to Dolphins Stadium, bring 5,000 fans, and say they had 75% of the stadium

 

Well I sat by these phin fans that live in Indiana as well, I thought that was cool. The guy next to me made a comment about I bet I didnt like my seats now, because him and his clan surrounded us and were all Rams fans. I commented to him that I had been to Jersey and been at a Jets game and was pretty sure that I could take any amount of abuse they sent my way. Which turned out to be none. Overall a nice place really.

 

agreed, but sadly sometimes they are right. It makes me so angry when the cheers are louder for the Pats than the Phins at home games.
