To be honest, I think the Dolphins are starting to get a lot of press. "Experts," throughout the league are taking us this weekend. I am not see or searching for the disrespect that others seem to be finding. My hope is that the extra attention doesn't worm into the minds of the players and thus, making them feel that the effort so far is good enough.

I hate to break it to you, but if we want to make a playoff run, then we’re going to have to be good enough to routinely be favored in games. Think about all of the perennial playoff teams: the Colts, the Patriots, the Ravens, the Steelers, the Chargers. They’re all favored in any game they play, except when they play against each other.

This team wants to win the Super Bowl? Time to step into the spotlight.

 

The media hype or lack thereof is meaningless. The 60 minutes played within the 57,600 Sq Ft field is all that matters. Everything else is a moot.

We’re rooting for one of the youngest teams in the NFL and so far it’s all good.

I just liked the under dog status, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to be favored all the time instead of under dogs.

 

Leave the underdog title to the Raiders and Lions.

 

Jason Cole has been anti-Dolphins since early pre-season so it doesn't surprise me. He will make excuses for the Jets if Miami's D slaughters em.

 

I hate good press for the Dolphins and I feed of being written off. I don't want to be the flavor of the month of the ESPN trophy team. Save that for the Jest and Cowboys who are a combined 1-3.

I wish I got paid to talk crap all week long, seriously it's amazing some of these dudes get paid for this crap. Have they even played football? Why are they so called experts? I'll listen to the dudes in Vegas who put their money where their mouths are.

Couldn't agree more. If you want to be able win a championship you're going to have to pop up on the radar at least a few times. If you want to be a top team you have to be able to perform with expectations.

 

I hate to say it, but it realy doesn't matter what the experts say or who is favored...the last time I checked none of those analysts actually suit up on Sunday and take the field(who are averaging 53% correct so far this year, by the way...a hair better than any coin could pick).

The only thing that matters is that I'm a Fin fan and so are you, and our defense is playing awesome football. I see it the exact opposite of you guys...come week 10 when these so called experts are saying, "You know, the Dolphins have been dominating all season and I expect them to continue to shut down offenses..." That's when I get pissed off...stay off our bandwagon and stop trying to pretend that you had any idea of what you were talking about!
