Miami's Receivers are so bad they're awesome....for the opposing secondary. And who knows what he classifies a drop as.

With all due respect of course.

96 attempts (which is what the dolphins have) is good for 29th league wide. So I'd agree there could be more opportunities. Looking at rushing, the Dolphins have 77 attempts (29th in the league). The Dolphins total plays from scrimmage totals to 179, again 29th in the league. How does this relate to the topic at hand? IMO, if our offense was able to sustain longer drives, currently 20th inToP/g(time of possession per game), we'd see more "drops". While I'm not a fan of dropped passes, if that number rose simply because our offense was on the field more often, I'd be happy with that.

Very good stats AND the telling tale IMO.

    Analogy:

If a Basketball player rides the pines 80% of the time, but when he is in gets nothing but layups his FG% would be very high. Does that mean he is an extrordinary offensive threat?

    Just asking....

I have to give props to Bill Parcells somehow 2 weeks ago he managed to switch us all into an alternative universe... we beat the best team in the NFL easily in their stadium and now the sports writters are calling our receivers awsome!! Whats next Wilford MVP of the leauge??

I agree the win could be described as easy, however I'd argue that the Patsies are the best team in the league. Either way I agree to the overall point of your post, B.P. has brought a change of attitude to this team. Very exciting!

Well first, this is ARMANDO. Not sure he is qualified as a Sports Writer or not...

Second, the best team in the NFL?
I would say that since we beat them, they are currently the 4th best team in the AFC East. :tongue2:

In this case, Ronnie Brown is the best QB in the league... Isnt his passer rating pretty much perfect??...
