He said we would win the AFC east in 08 and guess what?

 

Lombardi has been consistent with his praise for Miami.

I like his analysis , with or without him liking Miami.

He has real experience building a team and knows what works and what doesn't. He loves Miami's physicalness , let's hope that unfolds as he sees it and we can win a lot of games in the 4th quarter.

 

I too like Lombardi's credentials for selecting us as a team to watch out for. However, is Misi going to start ?? We don't know that for sure, do we ??

I hope he's right on the nose with his predictions though...

 

I haven't seen any reason to call Lombardi's endorsement "a kiss of death". He seems to base his predictions on fairly sound analysis and if he did pick us to win the division in '08 then it clearly wouldn't be "a kiss of death" since we won the division in '08. In his '08 prediction he originally picked the Pats and if he changed it to the Dolphins it would have been after Brady got hurt, which is more reasonable.

I know right. It sucks that 2 of our reserve Dlinemen would start on many 3-4 teams. Cutting a backup to our backup has doomed us!

Honestly I don't care about what this or that analyst said. It all means ZERO in the end. I rather us get little to no attention as long as we go into every game and bust people in the mouth.
