Michael Vick is reportedly washing pots and pans for 12 cents an hour and playing football in prison.
"Apparently, there was a prison football team and he played quarterback for both sides," Falcons owner Arthur Blank said. Blank keeps in touch with his former franchise player via the mail. Vick's projected date of release is July 20, 2009.

    Nice read.

Vick is a good person imo. I know people are going to say the whole dogfighting thing but you gotta remember, some cultures grow up doing that in their back yards. We saw an interview with Terrell Owens and Clinton Portis stating that they did that when they were younger.

I think that Vick will get out earlier than expected due to good behavior and will eventually be back in this league. When he was convicted and sentenced, I knew that he was going to stay in shape because of the things he would get in prison. I heard that they had a gym in the prison so I figured he would.

I think he will be back in this league maybe even with the Falcons. Sure they wont give him the lucrative contract that he had while he was there but they would take a chance on him because Arthur Blank is a forgiving man. I dont know if he will be a Quarterback again for any team, it is depending on the situations as we all know in organizations.

I don't really give a rats arse whether "his culture" thinks something like dogfighting is "ok".

It's a scumbag act and any culture supporting it is a worthless one.

There are cultures where to become a man in society they have boys perform oral sex on the older males. By ingesting their man sauce they "become men". Should that be ok since it's a part of someone's culture?

Also, Vick knew that this is an illegal act, a federal offense in fact.
He knew he was breaking the law period.

In addition this isn't the only thing that Vick has provided as evidence to him being a scumbag. Ron Mexico gets no quality person points here.

As for whether the Falcons would take him back to be their starting QB, why would they?
He's been a dissapointment as a QB and never came near "revolutionizing the QB position" as some trumpeted that he would.

If he had just got caught before they let Matt Schaub go it would have been the best thing that ever happened to the Falcons.
