DailyTech - Microsoft Fires Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death Whistleblower So M$ decides to fix the RRoD issue by firing the guy who blew the whistle on the issue. Great PR move.
That will happen in ANY corporate setting. When I'm not laid off I do customer support for various online games and even I know better then that ;p
Does Microsoft even care about PR at this point? Okay, yeah, they're trying to tell us we're stupid for not buying Vista with the Gates/Seinfeld ad, but really, do they care?
OK here's a question for you instead of starting a new thread. Lately I've been getting the RRoD, but if I turn it off and back on, it'll work fine. I just don't understand why it doesn't work but then it suddenly does...
my friend lost his 360 to the red ring of death a few weeks ago, worst part was it was on his birthday, it was 3 years old but luckily he was able to send it in to be fixed
well technically Excell fired him since he was a contractor. Also it was stupid for him to say anything, especially to have his name in the article itself. We sign confidenciality agreements when we take these jobs. The guy is not a martyr he is an idiot
