16 teams may make the playoffs but when you win the Stanley Cup , you survive and win a war. There isn't anything easy about battling every 2nd or 3rd night for 2 months , nothing. Hardest championship to earn.
Well, I hope Stephen Ross is indeed sincere that he hears the fans and is indeed interested in the TEAM. In Afghanistan, I was one of the few Dolphins fans on my camp and during the off-season...when other teams were having press releases about this trade...or that trade, we were having press releases about...oh yeah, the newest celebrity that had purchased minority ownership in the Dolphins. I was constantly being ragged out because of that...and they were right too. The season's results speak for themself. I'm getting ready to head back to Afghanistan again next month and the ONLY news I want to hear about during the off-season is who we've drafted...who we've traded...who we've traded for. I don't want to hear about Gloria and Emilio Estefan I don't want to hear about J-Lo or Marc Anthony I don't want to hear about the Williams sisters I don't want to hear about Jimmy Buffet All I want to hear is how Tony Sparano suddeny became a D1CK in the off-season and brutally trained them under the blazing heat of the South Florida sun as Don Shula did in '72 and how our team is in such phenominal condition that we'll be a beast to contain next season. THAT'S the kind of news I want to hear.
1st I want to thank you for your service. 2nd I too hope that Ross has learned his lesson about all the phoney-baloney celebrity/orange carpet crap. Just get the team right on the field, thats all the fans want. Not the report on TMZ from the Dolphins
