Our last two games this year really made me want to take a look at our defense, and what it was that made them turn around in such a short time, the simple answer would be Mike Nolan. I know a lot of people are concerned about losing him with a coaching change, but how much of it was him and how much was personnel? The addition of Karlos Dansby seems to be more important than it is perceived considering our collapse in the last two games. Paul Soliai finally became the nose tackle that was envisioned when he was drafted. Vontae and Sean Smith, may not have been perfect, but certainly they played much better than the year before. Chris Clemons was a better center fielder than Gibril (and he doesn't yell at everyone else after every other play). Cameron Wake and Koa Misi v. Jason Taylor and Joey Porter = no comparison It can be said that Mike Nolan made this happen, but I thought it would lead to interesting discussion.
