still has to keep it in check. Every word that comes out of his mouth will be chum in the water for the media sharks.
The beauty of remaining within the confines of team designated media statements, rather than the all too common knee jerk reaction, delivered by livid athletes when overwhelmed with emotion. He apparently remained cognizent of the detailed fine print, associated with his contract, and consequently had sufficient cover for the eventual PC.
lol @ people acting like Mike Wallace got caught ****ting on babies when all he did was say he didn't want to talk to the media.
Yeah, but to be fair, he was being a big baby. I don't mind that stuff as much when you lose, but don't pull that crap when you win, especially after the first game. It was overblown for sure, but still something that deserved discussion and handling.
Yet, Philbin and Sherman were both praising the fact Wallace wants to succeed that badly. You're buying into the Armando BS. This was way overblown.
I've already established this as a good thing in the other thread. And I'm not buying into any BS, I didn't think it deserved the fire it got, but it still needed to be handled. Why don't you take your 45,000 posts and go home.
I could swear I once saw a hilarious version where it slowed down as he pumped the fist, then suddenly sped up, and the apex of his fist pump was finished off with a burst of light and lensflare until the whole gif was whited out. Maybe I was just imagining how perfect it would be, and it doesn't actually exist. Hint hint - anyone with gif skills
Lol. He has very good form. It's like he knew that field goal was the pinnacle of his life and gave it everything he had
yep, that gif should be posted every time people criticize Philbin. Philbin is far from perfect, but he's also far from Sparano.
Agree this is way overblown by media, he was frustrated after a game at his performance, said something to media, probably went home and looked as his twitter and went WTF ? You just can't say anything and not expect 10 million people evaluating it...glad it will be put to bed...bet he gets a long TD against Indy and we never talk this again.
