If this doesn't blow your hair back, nothing will. Not for the faint of heart:

If the theory is true, and we are an advanced computer simulation built by the future us, then why would we find very primitive code buried deep within the equation of string theory? The code chunk he discusses would certainly get replaced as codes advance. The code he discusses is supposed to correct for anomalies when transmitting data, there is no way that code would be able to handle anomalies in the advanced code that would need to exist for the simulation theory to work, so why would it be there?

Not too mention, the first guy seems hesitant to explain his procedures. I get the sneaking suspicion he is doing the math equivalent of finding Bible codes.

This is actually a new theory. It is meant as a way to explain why our universe seems tailor made for our existence and the way everything works. It's fairly interesting if you read about it. Having said that without watching the video I doubt anything like that has been discovered.
