Not everybody that plays football is born to hit, just look at Deion Sanders.

Right now, I'd say that is where his future lies.

Generally I agree, that's true. Davis hasn't played much, so I'd be more willing to give him some more time in that regard. He seems somewhat better tackling receivers after the catch. It's the run game where he is most lacking.

He does seem mentally pretty sharp, just going by his interviews. I agree with you there.

Carroll getting playing time might be a reason we have brought in 5dbs

Marshall had an offer from cardinals, we offered more

Miller was coming off an injury as a rookie.

We didn't have another wr. Obviously, they kept trying to acquire talent throughout the year.

And why do you keep saying the moved Odrick to dt?
Odrick played dt last year for a good percentage of snaps. Do you really think Odrick will start at dt this year.

Besides, our defense want quick reaction corners to jump balls. Carroll is not good at shifting, can only play on the outside. Versatility is what our coaches preach, Carroll has none.

    So I guess:

You would have started a rookie wr over nanee.

Pushed a rookie rb coming off an injury, who can't passblock, to be our 3rd down back.

And started a rookie at de and moved Odrick to fulltime rotational player.

Your arguments are about stuff no coaching staff would have, or should have done

Naanee started one game last season. So much for the coaches thinking he was good enough to be a starter.

You are totally correct about Odrick and Carroll too.

I played RCB my whole football life, (thru HS), loved the hitting, if I was still playing, Goodell would be making a lot of money off me and my suspensions....lol I loved to hit.
But being 5'6, 120 my senior year, I wasn't big enough for college ball.

I went to college for soccer and for several years the football coaches tried to get me to play in the alum game. I knew all those guys because my brother played football for the same school. Looking back, I wish I would have played one game.
