Minicamps aren't as eye-opening as training camps (or band camps) for the simple fact there's still plenty of time for players to improve their games and get into the shape they'll need to be for the coming season.

So when we hear a report that LenDale White says he's about 5-10 pounds away from where he needs to be, we'll cut him some slack. He's a big boy, and he should be able to eat in the offseason if he wants to.

But there still is plenty of information to be gleaned from these workouts. Are there players coming down with injuries, or are slow to return from them? How are teams stacking up their depth charts? Is there a possibility free agent additions can shake up some NFL rosters?
