    These local beat writers are really lame when it comes to practice updates. So without further ado:

    Practice Updates 8/6/11:

    -Lydon Murtha looks big in person, hope it translates to the field
    -Just got another O-linemen in camp, Fl. St. guy, I think
    -Gates looks really fast, but needs to work on fundamentals
    -Nice hookup between Moore and what's-his-name
    -Bush making a nice gain, hope it translates to the games
    -VD and Sean Smith hoping to break out this year, backpedaling on drills
    -Just saw someone push D. Thomas to the ground. Haha, welcome to the NFL rookie!
    -Bunch of O-linemen on the Tour De Davie
    -Tony looks even thinner than last year, hope it translates

    Although...I will say this. I followed Armando's play by play in the comments section....and once I found out where it was....I thought it was a very good job.

    Sparano had Bush put on longer cleats after 7v7. Considering what happened with Jason Allen and the "slipsies" last year, it's possible Bush will be cut.

    After Practice Press Conference 8/7/11:
    Asked Sparano straight up if Bush is having Jason Allen-type problems on the field. He laughed and said just "No". Considering how secretive this regime is, all I'm going to say is, where there's smoke, there's fire.
