Simmons hates the Dolphins. He is a good NBA writer, but he is not real knowledgeable about the NFL. It is nice to get props from the national media, but there are 20 posters on this site that blow away even the best national guys when it comes to Dolphin insight.

He's a Pats fan so the guy must be pretty impressed to give the Fins so much credit here. Not that he's a football expert or anything but he's not an idiot either.

 

I read Simmons every week. Love his podcasts, and own both of his books. I did not mean to imply he was a stiff or an idiot, just that he is a better basketball writer than football. I know he is a Pats fan, but he holds a special dislike for the Phins.

Today's opponent is better than last week's and we only beat last week's by a few points.

 

We were playing on the road last week in a venue that's pretty hard on visiting teams.
