    Jimmy Wilson:
First impression was obvious. This kid can hit, and he hits with a vengeance. Best quality that I saw from him, he tackles from the waist down. Wilson looks for the wrap before bringing the opposing player down. Excellent, perfect, tackling techniques.

One thing that I noticed, he’s is playing SS, not FS. However, I am starting to believe that he is catered towards this position and not the FS position here’s why:

    - Great read on the ball. Being able to read the backfield and understand where the hole is going to be.
    - Drops well into coverage. Unlike the FS position where you play the Robber, Nolan has Wilson playing Box (1,2,3) coverages. Based on Wilson ability and playmaking he understands the concept and is learning by doing.
    - When you look at any safety you are looking at their hips. Lateral movement and fluidity are key traits that you have to pay attention too. Remember Jason Allen, he had stone hips, got caught numerous times. Wilson has good but not great movement. Based on the ATL game I saw him turning the wrong way at least 5 to 6 times.

    • This was just understanding player movement. It’s teachable, but when he reviews the game tape, I am sure he will correct it.
    - Blitzing

    • Wilson not only had a Blitz sack but a forced fumble. Makes you want to see him play more. I would love to see him against the First Team

I love this guy and he's a great story to boot. I have been recently thinking that he might be the future at Bell's position.

I saw his post game interview with Kimbo. Wilson is very intelligent, well spoken and respectful to a fault. His "Yes Sir" replies to Kim were like he was in the military. He said playing in the NFL was everything he had dreamed of, and it was a great team win.

I want to infuse this kid's blood into every Phins player. :)

Except he is more a corner than safety, and Tony said a few days ago, that corner was where Wilson would be working now for the foreseeable future.

I would be happy if Wilson is just a ST's ace for now. I believe that is a given.
