ProFootballTalk.com cites a WLWT-TV report that says Chris Henry, RB Chris Perry and DT Domata Peko could have charges filed against them after "incidents" at a club called "BANG" on Sunday. The club released a statement saying it hadn't filed charges "pending the settlement of punitive damages," which the players have refused to pay. As PFT.com pointed out, it sounds like the club is trying to squeeze some money out of the Bengals players by threatening charges, but it's just more trouble in Cincinnati. Wow.. doesnt anybody that plays on that team appreciate the chance they are being given to play in this league... sure this could just be the club trying to get something out of these guys... but still... its like nobody has any control whatsoever over anyone that is on that team... not the coach... and not the front office either
Marvin Lewis needs to be fired. They just have to change the culture that's destroying that team before they completely waste Carson Palmer.
That team needs a complete make over it seems. They got a lot of troubled young players but they also have some players who are young with good character like Leon Hall and Ndukwe.
Why is it Marvin's fault? People forget he took over a 2-14 team. The GM has been assembling a group of thugs and idiots, I don't blame Lewis the guy's a good coach in a terrible situation. I think keeping the team around .500 with all the suspensions/distractions and a bunch of nobodies on defense isn't bad coaching. I don't like blaming or firing coaches for off the field behavior there really isn't anything they can do about it. What coach would do a better job on that team?
