Speaking to Thigpen's athleticism.

Prior to the trade, he Haley was going to take advantage of that athleticism and move him outside.

I'm telling you, he is going to be what we hoped Pat White would be.

Thigpen trade

Hey I was gonna look for the Thigpen thread, but I figured I'd just create a new one.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not but the old guy said we gave up a 5th for him.

Also, that the Chefs were about to turn him into a WR..

thoughts?

Nice.......but maybe they should have thought of that when Thigpen was being shopped in the off season for a 5th and saved that 2nd rounder

Dunno, but that's what he said.

Also I didn't see this thread, sorry.

do we know if Thigpen is the emergency qb tonight? I kind of think this would be the right time to use him and show new wrinkles in the wild cat? I don't know if he's been here long enough to do that or even if he's coming in tonight as the 2nd string qb but I will be looking for this. If not tonight then I think after the bye week were going to see Thigpen running the spread/wild cat a few times a game.

I can't seem to find it now, but I'm pretty sure they were asking for a 3rd.

It appears the Jags offered a 6th and then a 5th rounder and KC balked.....

So I guess early on they wanted more....which was kind of stupid on their part. I mean it's not like he was ever really in their plans other than filling in
