I voted for TD, but, even though I'm one of the biggest Dolphin fans out there, I think he's one of the most embarrassing mascots I've ever seen. Not that Fireman Ed is much better. :lol:

 

How is Fireman Ed rated #5 but TD is rated #12 and TD is winning in the poles...

No team hates their mascot more than Dallas fans hate Rowdy. Can you blame them?

 

I posted this over on TGG. I also wasn't aware that Jets fans hated Ed, although I admit I don't really care about him one way or the other. TD has the lead now, lets see what happens if TGG'ers vote.

I took a swing at Rowdy after a Thanksgiving day game in Dallas.
We got trounced 20-0 I think it was. Walking out of the stadium that tool was riding his 4 wheel ATV through the crowd.

I guess he saw my Phin jersey and apparently he thought it was funny to rev the engine and then actually bump me with the ATV.

I didn't find it amusing, I yelled at him, he got off the ATV and came towards me so I hit him in his big mascot head Ace Ventura style.

Thankfully my friends pulled me away so it didn't go any further.
What was funny is that there were Dallas fans that applauded me after it happened.

I love that thing, its so goofy lookin it makes me laugh. The kids must love it down there at the games

 

we need a dolphin mascot with a laser beam on its head, a grenade belt around its waist, wearing a t shirt that says don't tread on me.

Fireman Ed is a fan, not a mascot

 

I'd say there are more Jets fans that like Ed than don't, actually. You will find the older season ticket holders who remember Shea that don't really care for him but for kids and people between the ages of 10-25/30, you'll find a bunch that actually do like him. However, when he didn't show up to a game last season (and we still don't know exactly why but supposedly he was on disability with problems with his back) that kind of pissed off a lot of fans, including myself.

Um, hello, Detroit Pistons fan here. I know it's another sport entirely, but come on, how many other fan bases are so loyal that they singlehandedly submarine their archrivals?

Pistons fans would whoop up on Eagle or Raider fans like a Marine drill sergeant on a pudgy recruit with an effeminate first name.

 

Steely McBeam is an absolute disgrace. Steeler fans are right to hate his guts. "Let's see, how about a cartoonized version of our old coach as the mascot?" They don't even have cheerleaders, but they've got a ridiculously stupid mascot. Oh, and he's a jerk too, in real life. McBeam, not Bill Cowher, I mean. The guy got busted for drunk driving, which sort of takes away some of the kid-friendly aspect of his appeal.

Now, to be fair, I've been to Pittsburgh, and there's a reason the Steelers don't have cheerleaders. Your average Pittsburgh female stinks of Marlboro reds and can shotgun an Iron City Beer in 0.4 seconds, then render a belch that measures 4.5 on the Richter scale.

What I saw of Eagles fans in our stadium verified every single horrible thing I'd ever heard about that group. As classless a crew as I've ever encountered.
