This should be extremely interesting. His host, Kim Bokamper has been critical of Henning and to hear Tony explain away that last drive ought to be "must see TV".

Should have been called the Tony Excuse show. He sugar-coated the whole mess from last week. Please someone get this clown out of Miami.
-
so what did he say
-
"We are a good team than just doesn't execute" (maybe better coaching would help Sparano!!)
"We just need to work better together"
"Our field goal kicker missed his opporunities"......
That last one was what p.o.'d me the most. Carpenter has bailed your azz out all year, and you throw him under the bus, when he misses 4 LONG field goals ? -
Sparano is an idiot.
He makes excuses for everything except the real problem. Himself and his OC.
I didn't see the show but he criticized Carp? That is ridiculous.DolfanJake likes this. -
Never watched the show, never will. Don't care what excuse is being trotted out this time. Henning's (eulogy) candor was refreshing this week, even though everything he said was obvious to anyone watching the games. Sparano is still giving the company line, so apparently he's expecting to keep his job. Let's all root for the Chiefs to win the West, the Chargers to fire Norv Turner, and the Ross to bring him down here to lead us out of the Stonehenge.

The lack of accountability from the coaching staff is shameful. I used to defend Sparano. I'm done. He should go along with Henning. I will not support a coach that does not put the blame on himself when things are not going right. Even if he's just trying to stick up for Henning, I'm sick of the "execution" line. Take some god damn responsibility. That's what good coaches do.
