I dread Mothers Day every year. My Mother passed away on Mothers Day 9 years ago.

Mine too, the whole bummer was my Uncle, Moms brother, was murdered 10 days before Mom passed. This left my Gramma without any children, and the daughter passed on Mom's day. It was always a stressful thing trying to acknowledge and love Grams on Mom's day.

Worst time of the year for me. Her birthday was last Friday, Mother's Day is tomorrow, the anniversary of her passing is May 22nd, the anniversary of my Dad's passing is June 7th, Father's Day is June 15th, and Dad's birthday is June 27th.

Two months of pure bliss.

Wow,sometimes it seems like you are the only one hurting and thinking of all this crap.(head going a hundred miles an hour) I got slammed pretty good too,first my nephew in a head on collision(age 20),then my brother about a year later at 46 died suddenly and then before that year was over mom was sick and it wasn't good.Sure makes you appreciate every single gawd damned minute!

 

just when you think you have it hard. someone has it worse..just look at this thread for example..i realize how lucky i am for almost all my family still alive...i'll cherish them every moment because you don't know when they could be gone.
