So what are some songs from movies that make you think of the movie as soon as you hear it? Today on the radio I heard The Bangels- Hazy Shade of Winter which made me think of......
I love the whole soundtrack for this: but I am definetely a sucker for their main song... Wig in a Box, which is awesome in so many ways it is not even funny. Also this:
Burn by The Cure Golgotha Tenement Blues by Machines of Loving Grace and Dead Souls by NIN All from The Crow... Great soundtrack!
I'm a big AC/DC fan and one of my favorite songs is Big Gun which makes me think of and the dude with the smiley face contacts I like all the songs on the soundtrack... 1) Big Gun (AC/DC) 2) What the Hell Have I (Alice in Chains) 3) Angry Again (Megadeth) 4) Real World (Queensryche) 5) Two Steps Behind (Def Leppard) 6) Poison My Eyes (Anthrax) 7) Dream On (Aerosmith) 8) Little Bitter (Alice in Chains) 9) **** the Hammer (Cypress Hill) 10) Swim (Fishbone) 11) Last Action Hero (Tesla) 12) Jack the Ripper (Michael Kamen)
Those are some great songs. What movie is that? Anything Michael Kamen had his hand in has to be good. Not sure if who is familiar with him, but I think he was a musical genius.
Off the top of my head: You Could Be Mine - Guns N' Roses (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) The Perfect Crime - Faith No More (Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey) Summer Breeze - Type O Negative (I Know What You Did Last Summer) Burn - NIN (Natural Born Killers) The Perfect Drug - NIN (Lost Highway) Burn - The Cure (The Crow) After the Flesh - My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult (The Crow) Golgotha Tenement Blues - Machines of Loving Grace (The Crow) Dead Souls - NIN (The Crow) Forsaken - David Draiman/Jonathan Davis (Queen of the Damned) Slept So Long - Jay Gordon/Jonathan Davis (Queen of the Damned) Cemetary Gates - Pantera (Demon Night) and I love the Braveheart, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, & LOTR instrumental Soundtracks...
I always think of Pulp Fiction when hearing this song:
'Bohemian Rhapsody' will always be synonymous with 'Waynes World'. 'Stuck in the Middle with You' by Steelers Wheel makes me think of 'Reservoir Dogs' when Mr. Blonde cuts the cops ear off.
I think I have two soundtracks, "8 Mile" and "The Waterboy". I don't even know how I got "The Waterboy" one.
