The 2001 win was the game where Kenoy Kennedy knocked out Chris Chambers, and the Jaybird led a furious comeback in the final minute to get Mare into range to make a long game winning FG?
One of the most fun wins I've ever experienced as a Dolphin fan that wasn't against a division rival.
Tanking is like taking a Greyhound bus cross-country. Sure, it may eventually get you where you want to go, but it’s messy and unpleasant and uncomfortable, it stinks, the entire time you’ll be wishing you weren’t there, and not everybody along for the ride is going to make it to the end. - Quote stolen from Deadspin
Updated weather from 9news (Denver)
Looking at mostly sunny with temps around 52. Not sure about the wind.

Wow. I'm reading high of 34 for game day online. If it's in the 50s I'll be pissed.

9news out here in Denver. I was looking at the 10 day forecast. Sat, high of 59, (golf for me), but chance of breezy.

I'm not sure we can adjust to the high altitude in just 3-4 days. Some teams think it works better to arrive as close to game time as possible. From what I recall reading anyway.
Caught some of Philbin's presser on the way home from work. I believe he said Miami is arriving in Denver on Saturday, as opposed to earlier in the week.

Seems like a couple of days early wd be the standard to acclimate to the altitude. I wonder what other teams do?

You may be right MrClean I am not sure..I have never lived there..we did visit Mt, UT, Wyoming, Idaho for 17 days on vacation and I had trouble with altitude whole time with Asthma and COPD. .but had a blast..God's Country
Other than Oregon, Montana is my favorite state. Not only is it frigging gorgeous in a variety of ways, the people there are so unpretentious toward outsiders. They make ya really feel welcome. In my experience anyway.

That game was actually in 2002, as Miami had Ricky Williams. But yes, that's the game where Mare hit a 50+ yard FG to win it. Best regular season game I can remember.
2001 did not sound right, but I did not verify it. Figured Colorado Steve was right. I wasn't 100% sure either way and too lazy to look it up.

Are you going Sunday? If so maybe we can meet up before the game at Brooklyn's or Mile High Station.
Wouldn't meeting way over in Brooklyn be a little bit out of the way for both of ya?

Yes, they sure do...alot of people from my Hometown in Florida moved to Montana...all Dolfan's so I know we have some rep out there..my son has plans on moving to Oregon to finish last 2 years of school for Master's to become a teacher! I am proud of him and he is brave.lol

Yeah and the 99 game MARINO went into Mile High and the Dolphins destroyed the Broncos. Shannon Sharpe had been talking sh!t about Marino all year...he ran straight off the field after Marino had kicked his teams a$$.

At 4:25? Kickoff

I don't know, tbh:(
Today it's supposed to be mid 30's, so I'm headed to the heated driving range and bash some golf balls:)
Really, after this past week with the polar vortex passing through, 30's will be nice:)
They still have that heated range in Aurora? It also had a skating rink. I used to run into Avalanche players with their kids there all the time.

I spent a couple of years in Cheyenne, and all through that country due to zero humidity, the snow is so powdery dry, you literally cannot make a snowball out of it. :)
Much more comfortable to be outside when it's 20 degrees in a place like Denver or Cheyenne than it is when it's 40 in a cold and high humidity area such as the west coast of South Korea.
This is true it takes the fun out of a snowball fight. Lived in Frisco Colo as a kid skiing was great though.
That's why they play the games!

I was there for that one too:)

We do have a storm coming in, this morning another station said high of 38, 10-20 winds with a chance of snow.
I sure would have loved to be there. I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Denver for a game and make a 9 day trip out of it...oh well, maybe one day.
Oh, and I never could stand Shannon Sharpe. ..big mouth he is but have always really liked Sterling.

Yea, but's it in Cenntenial, (SP). I go there a lot. I was there this past Sunday along with another 3-4 dozen people. Let my house it was 17, got there and it was around 20-22ish...lol Those heaters are nice

Broncos fans are really pretty cool, never really had any issues other than a couple minor comments...lol
That's nice. It is always a pleasure to sit by opposing fans who realize that at the end of the day it is just a game. Just like when we are at home..when I go I treat opposing fans with the respect that I would expect..that is if they are not abusive...lol..usually have a good time ribbing back n forth.

Yeah baby, that's ass kickin weather right there! Manning and his noodle arm will get exposed!!
I think the weather is an advantage for us, were used to dealing with humidity, once we get there its dry air, and that always feels good when your used to humidity, maybe there is a reason we play well when we go there.

Kickoff: 2:25pm (MT)
High: 43
Low: 23
Wind: N to NW 10-25mph
Sunset: 4:40pm (MT)
First 3 quarters will be comfortable. 4th will be cold. If Fins are leading or close through those first 3, they can win it in the 4th. Peyton is not good when it gets cold.
Snow front is taking longer to get here than they expected. Shouldn't be a problem.
