Now all he needs is to get the same kind of breaking of bread situation with Parcells that Ricky Williams was given so they might be able to hammer out their differences.....
Spygate is done people. IT'S OVER, and has been for months. Yes Bill Belichick cheated and lied about it.... and lied about lying about it.... but this is the norm in the NFL.
Spygate wasn't the tip of the iceberg. It was a way of life in the NFL, where like LaDainian Tomlinson said, the motto is "if you're not cheating, you're not trying."
There's a reason the Dolphins used towels to cover up their defensive calls last season. Other teams might not be video taping them, but there is someone on the opposing sideline recording ALL of the signals made. And you better bet they do make halftime adjustments based on the information collected.
I usually visit the coaching booths after games, and just like Jimmy Johnson said most teams leave EVERYTHING behind from their four hour war. And plenty of the stuff used could make an interesting episode of 24 because of all the espionage involved.
Belichick's problem was he got caught red-handed, ratted out by the coach, Eric Mangini, he himself mentored while Mangini served as his protege. Anyone ever wonder who taught Belichick to cheat? That's one of those question that should make you say, "hummmm."
