You can't make players tank. Nor, I think, does Flores really have any interest in not being competitive and trying his best. That doesn't mean he doesn't value the QB position or wants a higher level of play. I think Grier moving on from THill and acquiring so much capital is plenty of evidence that they are gearing up for a QB selection. Now, "all in" for a QB? I suppose every person on this board may have a different idea of that. Do I think we trade, for example, 3 first round picks? Probably not. Might we package 5 and 39? That's pretty reasonable.

So would people really trade up to #2, and draft Tua not Chase Young? That might make me have a stroke. Without knowing Tua is 100% and able to stay mostly that way, I am ok waiting a little later in the round for Jordan Love and having a complete draft if they can finally pull one off. If we grab Tua at 5 I understand it but it's definitely risky
