I had to come and ask for prayer for my aunt.
She is in the last stages of cancer. From brain tumors and lung.
She is losing her strength daily. We are really just counting hours and minutes at this point
She's a wonderful lady and will be missed terribly by everyone.
So please send your prayers for her to be in peace and no pain.
And remember us, her family, we need all the strength we can get. It's getting harder and harder to hold on.

I wanted to up-date this.
She is in the last stages. She is aspirating and is on oxygen all the time now.
She can barely speak and sleeps most all the time. Can't eat and can barely swallow liquids.
Hospice is saying maybe a week now because everything is shutting down.
Please keep us in your prayers.
She is not suffering and their keeping the pain away, so that is one blessing.

I hope you don't mind me commenting in your thread.
Hospice is the best worst place to be as a patient and a family member. I lost my mother 14 years ago and she passed away there. The care is absolutely remarkable.
It is the absolute toughest thing to lose a loved one but they make the process little easier. I don't specifically know you but your in my thoughts because I have been in that situation first hand and now I am dealing with my father and cancer. It is the hardest part of life. We just have to let go and take care of ourselves and everyone around us that we love. Hang in there. -

She has home hospice. They come as much as needed and more, really. Her wish was to stay in her home.
Our uncle has our full support and love. they have only been married a little over a year and were so happy. They had known each other and gone out for over a year prior.
She's a grand woman. I am going to miss her terribly. She is like my second mom. -

Our weekend was fine.
After having dinner with my husband's mom on Thanksgiving, we stopped by to see our aunt.
She's getting more and more un-responsive. But, we did see her for a second.
The family all stayed outside, it was beautiful out, talked, laughed and had a nice time with each other. So, it turned out to be a good day for all of us.

My aunt passed last night.
She just went to sleep very peacefully.
