I didn't read the entire article, but it doesn't say one way or another about it being an apparent suicide. Depressing nonetheless, I hope the town isn't overwhelmed emotionally by this loss. Sometimes winter can build up enough grief that all it needs is an outlet to dwell on.
I was in Chicago just last month and I heard of his troubles with the law and how there was no chance he would be re-elected. There was also a unanimous thinking that he messed up the city. Truly sad that it ended this way though, I mean, at the end of the day who is actually happy with a government official. RIP
