Sorry I haven't been around, was painting the house all weekend.
I'm concerned about the lack of WR picked today. I don't feel like we have any big play makers at wide out. Now that we have two young qbs we need some wr that they can grow with.
Thoughts?

i mean the phins got there burner they got there big target and they now have big target TE i also think they will sign some undrafted players to come in
also i dont think the phins will be throwing the ball 40 times a game anyway -
I agree, we need a Wr just to compete with the D Hagans of our roster...we need to draft one or sign one UDFA...

We didnt draft a WR because BP builds a team via the lines, who indeed recieved the majority of the picks. People have been stressing over WR for awhile now, and I keep saying to get over it. Its not a premium position here, and believe it or not, with Ginn and Wilford our front 2 are set for now until we are sure the lines are shored up.
Get ready for lots of rock pounding and stuffing this year. A devastating aerial attack is not the current plan. -
WR's don't make an instant impact though. I'm glad we didn't waste a pick on a WR.

I guess Parcells is going to try and pick up some WR's through free agency....or maybe wait until cut down day before the season starts?

My guess is we sign 3 WR's but only 1 will make the roster.

If I was a young QB, Id rather have a solid OL keeping me upright than a young WR imo. Not that WR isnt something Id want, but its a position that generally has a minimal impact in the short term, seems to have a high bust rate and generally isnt part of the immediate plans of a Parcells rebuilding project.
That said, we will (and reportedly have) sign some FAs or draft cuts to provide depth/competition. But I think we all need to realize that Ginn and Wilford will be our starters this year (barring something a little crazy like a trade or unexpected cut), with others fighting for the last few spots. -
