I'll add more later probably, but this was my first. I did it on CBS sportsline once I saw Desides mention it. I missed my first pick, and would have taken Addai had I been in the room. 12 teams, I had the 8th pick. 1) Lynch 2) Grant 3) Chad Johnson 4) Holt 5) Roy Williams 6) Johnathon Stewart (too soon?) 7) Eli Manning 8) Laverneus Coles 9) Titans D 10) Donald Driver 11) Heath Miller 12) Chester Taylor 13) Tavaris Jackson 14) Neil Rackers Starting roster QB- Eli Manning RB - Lynch RB - Grant WR - Chad Johnson WR - Torry Holt WR - Roy Williams TE - Heath Miller RB/WR - Johnathon Stewart Def - Titans K - Rackers Bench - Jackson Bench - Coles Bench - Taylor Bench - Driver So how'd I do?
Not too bad. Though RB seems to be a weak point depth-wise. WR's are your strong point. Stewart I think was a bit too soon unless there were no other options. And why am I not surprised you drafted Ryan Grant.
I agree with the defense, the thought crossed my mind when I made the pick in fact. There was suddenly a run on defenses and I got caught up in the flow lol.
You really think the 2nd round is too soon for Grant? Where has he been going in most mocks others have done? I could have gone Portis or Larry Johnson but Johnson killed me last season so I dont have much faith in the guy.
And Chiefs are going to mix things up with Kolby Smith, who was impressive subbing for LJ, and Charles. Portis has had a few injury concerns so it's a toss up between him and Grant, who the Pack will likely lean on.
The only time I'd take a defense in the 9th is if the Vikings are there, and there's poor depth at the other positions.
I would try and package Driver with Grant to a receiver poor team for a back upgrade. If that doesnt work try Holt since Bulger is unreliable at best. I suspect grant wont see as many 5-10 yard carries without the threat of Favre back there so he could start slow and watch his value take a hit.
