I don't want one call to go our way & every species of adversity to strike during this season. I want game after game close and/or in overtime. I want this season to be the crucble that molds Miami into a Perrenial Contender, then after a surperb draft & free-agency, I want the SuperBowl in 2013.
finally we are viable:dolphin:jsizzle likes this. -
a loss tomarrow (today) would mean?
hubris!
none of the above is true
don't care if we win or lose, as long as we play hard & move forward
my expectations are being met with every game
we will contend next year: need a good draft, free-agency & some experience
got the coach & franchise qb
the team looks good:dolphin:
p.s. be careful what you wish for...

Are you (or one of your multiple personalities) Tony Sparano?

Would have been a blow out if we had a single call go our way. Shouldn't have been anything near a 3 point win.

we need to face every adversity & every negative they can throw at us to grow in 2012 to blossom in 2013. this is a good thing in my book. after the refs & nfl have had a year of reviewing bad & questionable calls against our team, they may be inclined to give us a break now & then. we are in the process of not only changing our culture but in how the nfl looks at Miami in future games.
the page has been turned & a new chapter is being written.
we need to coaching, experince, coaching & more experience at this point in our development. -
The point being, these things happen every game, yet as fans we only see those bs calls when they are against our own team. Over the course of the season, they should even themselves out. -

I think Miami showed today that they are still capable of beating the other middle of the road teams in the NFL. The concern is that the Dolphins were out gained 477 yards to 204 yards. The Rams were able to move the ball at will for most of the game. The Dolphin defense did tighten up and play better when the Rams got close to the goal. The Dolphin offense was ineffective for the majority of the game and they were held to less then 20 yards rushing for the game.
The most important aspect of the game is that they didn't play well for much of the game, but they still found a way to win in the end.
The game today though clearly showed the need for an improved secondary and a more consistent pass rush. The Rams were playing without their best WR and yet they had open receivers all day. It was also a terrible day for the rush defense. They gave up over 160 yards to a Rams team which was not expected to have much success against what was suppose to be the best run defense in the league.
The Dolphins are 3-3 and that is good. The bad is that the Dolphin are still several players away from being a legitimate playoff team and I still think it will be at least 2013 before they are able to contend with the better teams in the NFL.
