Ok. I was watching Sportscenter as they was talking about the Marlins new ballpark. At that moment I was thinking, we don't have to worry about infield dirt in the stadium anymore.
So my thoughts go towards you dolfans...what is something you are looking forward to seeing or whatever for the 2012 season??

Looking forward to seeing how Philbin does as a head coach.
Looking forward to seeing if Reggie Bush can build on last season and how productive he can be if he runs effectively for an entire season.
Looking forward to seeing which receiver steps up to fill the void left by BM.
Looking forward to watching Cam Wake and VD on defense.
Looking forward to seeing if/how Ireland addresses the QB position in the draft.2k5, Ohio Fanatic, dolfan7171 and 2 others like this. -

Looking forward to the season and going to games again and tailgating in the parking lot. Cannot wait until basketball and Hockey are over. I know we haven't had big crowds but just the same, love going to the game with the people that actually go insteadof the ones that never go and just pissss and mooooan.
Then the season comes and bam, its great, then its halfway over and then its over , then I am sad.dolfan7171 likes this. -
However... if underlying that is a desire to see him in Dolphin colors in 2013, this team would have to be so bad that it would make the fans violently ill.
Areyou trying to start a "Barf for Barkley" campaign before the offseason is 1/4 through?

In addition to what MonstBlitz said above, I am looking forward to our offense going away from the #1 diva receiver to more of a team effort by spreading the ball around. I liked Marshall when he was here, but it was disappointing to hear how demanding he was about getting the ball. I think our offense will be less predictable and more efficient -perhaps even exciting - if we can get everyone involved.

How quickly the team picks up a "new" offense(I say new because most NFL offenses are identical, and only have different terms for different routes i.e. omaha could be a curl for one team and an out for another)
If there is any development in whoever the starter at QB will be.
Who takes up Brandon Marshall's slack?dolfan7171 likes this. -

Dirt never bothered me. We played in it more than our opponents. If anything it should have been an advantage.

I'm looking forward to seeing Matt Moore getting to start for the entire season, with a better line in front of him and in a better offensive system.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the hybrid defense comes together. Will it be as good as Saban's was in 2005 and 2006? I'm not sure there's someone currently on the roster that good win the Defensive Player of the Year like Jason Taylor did. Maybe Cameron Wake? I'd love to see someone like Courtney Upshaw in this defense - sorry, I've been banging the drum for him since last fall, why stop now?
Offensively, I'd like to see how similar, or dissimilar, the Dolphins offense is to the Packers, and who they bring in at QB.sws84 and dolfan7171 like this. -
I'm more interested in the QB battle between Garrard and Moore. If Garrard is healthy don't be surprised if he wins the battle.dolfan7171 likes this. -

I'm also looking forward to a head coach that is a promoted offensive coordinator of one of the best offenses as opposed to a promoted offensive line coach.

I swear I look forward to everything, just the thought of we might be the team where something inspires us to come together as a team, and we turn that into controlled rage for 60 mins, I wanna see how tough we are, how focused, how well we execute and how physical is this particular group willing to become..
The draft is my favorite event in sports so Iam really looking forward to that, wanna see how much respect our new coach gets and how he deals with players.sws84 and dolfan7171 like this. -
I know what DJ is looking forward to. The stands being moved closer to the field. :wink2:

In all seriousness, is that actually happening this year? I know it's in the plans, but I wasn't sure if that change was in fact going to take hold for 2012.dolfan7171 likes this. -

I am looking forward to the draft first of all. Will we draft a QB in the first round and who will we draft in the second round and with back to back picks in the third round? I am looking forward to the new offensive schemes and defensive schemes and see how the team adapts to them. I am looking forward to see what kind of training camp that Philben runs
