Thanks FN! I'm intrigued by the WR Carter. Hopefully he's good on STs and he can be an upgrade to our 5th WR spot while he continues to develop. I see the WR spot as one where you can find gems. Sometimes when you have players who switch positions and school like he did, the players are late developing. He has an incredible speed/size ratio, if he can catch and if he can develop the mental side who knows. I know most fans hate the line practice before the pads come on, but when you're coaching they're invaluable. They help you identify whether the players know the plays and work on the technique side that can be tough to see during full contact.
Oh, I'm sure they are very important in terms of learning your assignments, but man they are lame lol...
Shoulder pads are on! (not full pads tho.) Units broken up fr individual drills. Carter with a one handed catch...
Jake Long literally just broke a cement wall with a medicine ball... I kid you not. There's a chunk taken out of the side of the building...
Sounds like so far Brackett and Devlin are really shining, they mentioned Devlin had one incompletion and that was on a drop by Epps, Brandstater better step up.
I was out there for the 11:00 practice and it wasn't hard to spot Wake. He was the only guy on the entire team that was wearing practice pants instead of shorts.
My boi, keep an eye on this kid fellas, maybe he makes it, maybe not, think he has something to his game though.
that guy made the best and most detailed practice report ever by a official local writer http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...sweblog+(Miami+Dolphins+|+Sun-Sentinel+Blogs)
and yet he doesn't understand why it's in such high demand. Hellooo... we haven't seen football for how long?
just to let you guys know, I watched 15 mins by someone holding a camera in the stands...Its all just half speed stuff from what I saw..pads come on 2maro, there is really nothing to go on in terms of what Henne is doing or not doing.
Boy, our passing offense doesn't sound like it's clicking at ALL. Isn't it easier for offenses without pads? Basically high speed sandlot football. Must be the mechanical stuff they've been coacuhed to do and reading the defenses that's screwing them up. Not sure hwy all the drops by receivers when they know they won;t get hit. At least the defense sounds like it's on-schedule.
Am really interested to see how Gates progresses. I think he has the potential to be the best player we drafted this year. Edit: Just spotted this on the official site: http://www.miamidolphins.com/news/camp-day-3-pouncey-thrown-wolves-other-notes
