I don't post in here all that often, but I really enjoy history. Anyways, I stumbled across a cool documentary about the F-14 not too long ago. It was, and still is, my favorite plane. Growing up with Top Gun I always thought it was really cool, but after seeing the evolution it made from the F-14A to the B, and to the D the "Super Tomcat" I was curious if anyone had any cool F-14 stories and/or photographs? I recently picked up modelling again for the first time since I was in middle school, and found a really cool F-14D model I plan to put together later this year. I'm currently working on a P-51D and have an A-10 up next (my dad's friend from high school flew an A-10 in Desert Storm and I've always liked them, but not like the Tomcat). Anyways, some stories and/or photos would be cool for some inspiration.
