What did I tell you knee-jerkin', no football acumen having, trolls!?! You guys need to get something through your thick, troll skulls. It's a game of matchups and just because one guy loses a fight to a perceived lesser opponent, doesn't mean he can't win against a perceived better opponent (and I can back that up with pre-game comments on the game thread). 8 weeks!...8 weeks to get the offense in rhythm; you impatient ridiculous fools! I suffered through countless ignorant threads this season waiting for the offense to gel, and now that it's finally here....Just suck it, you loser fans! Now go join the Browns fans. They're supremely confident in their ability to lose. You trolls will feel more at home! ...I said good day! #stickyworthy
They finally played a good game and you're shouting from the mountain tops about it. Isn't that a knee jerk reaction as well?
This game is only one data point. If Miami ends the season 4-12, then this game is merely an anomaly. If they finish 10-6, then it likely is the start of a trend. But they need to stack a bunch of these performances in order for this not to be a blip on the screen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Admit it BPK, you were impressed by the play calling today. Gase is starting to get a better feel for his offense. I don't see him going backwards. He was pretty upset even in the win. Why are people underestimating the health of the Oline? Dirty is so clueless, he even said that last week's starting oline would be the best (and he showed zero class for starting the gameday thread immediately after the loss to Tennessee. Which he started!)
HAHA!Are you the same guy that said eat crow after henne had a good game a few years back?Just kidding but really dude?We win games like this every year suck you back in and then here comes an AfC east game and back to reality. Please do not pound your chest with 1 win.We have all seen this same **** for the last decade. If we win the next 2 then I will beat my chest with you until then settle down..Jets and bills next.
I love Gase. Completely behind the guy. If ross has the guts to back him up no matter what, we will eventually build a good, consistent winning franchise again.
Nah, this was just to beat back the trolls... When you're made to feel stupid for thinking we have a shot to win on your own team's website, well then, they deserve the beat down. I'm no expert, but I know enough that it's still a game of matchups and it's still any given Sunday. I'm proud I did it...
I guess when you live in hawaii the losses dont bother you as much. Football is a funny game like you said on any given sunday. The problem is we need 10 on any given sundays to make playoffs and this team is not talented enough. But I am done with the negative posts we both need to enjoy the win.
It was never about this year for me. Just install the offense and evaluate. The funny thing is I went to a sports bar at the last minute. The name of the bar, and I kid you not, was FUNUGYS (get it? F U New Guys). It was like a vanity plate for my sentiments for these new troll posters. Couldn't have played out better...
Killer Bees pregame - "How are some of you thinking we can really win today? We are going to get whooped, I just don't think our defense can match up with them. I'd be surprised if we hold them under 40 points." Me - "Because football is a game of individual matchups. This team is an unknown matchup-wise."
no no, deej, you're misunderstanding. it was only directed at you, personally. lol. kidding. [that would be funny.. a thread titled "Naysayer, DJ!!!" lol. also, it would get you banned]
Miami running out clock...now I've seen everything! As far as play-calling, I didn't really see anything different from Adam Gase. I saw a lot better execution from the players and a line that gave the offense a chance to actually operate. Tannehill's play was also a bit more clutch. Loved the deep shot to Landry. Hung in the pocket, slid and shot it deep to the outside where only Landry could get it. Exciting stuff.
The main thing I wanted to see this year was growth. This team should have a top 10 offense. If the QB and the offensive line have the correct mindset it will happen.
Just happy to see a complete game (figuratively, had to follow the feed because the game wasnt on here). Outside of James 3 costly penalties early and a couple of drops, this game wouldn't have been this close. I just want to see consistency now, keep this kind of play up and don't lay an egg next week. I have been down on Tannehill since the Browns game, but perhaps part of the reason he hasn't looked right is as the staff has been saying and guys just haven't been doing what they are supposed to do. Receivers not running the right routes, finally having our starting line on the field. Props to Maxwell for having a great game and making Antonio Brown basically disappear, I credit that to his playing man coverage in this game rather than zone where he is just not good. Hopefully the coaches will keep him in man/press coverage going forward. And how about Ajayi! What a game he had!
I think the most important thing this season is figuring out if gase can "guru" THILL. I have been waiting to see him with a proper o line all season to finally asses if he is our future.
That scramble and throw to Marqueis Gray today throwing down the field across his body was his nicest throw of his career
Sadly, I have been the eternal optimist that's been saying all along that the Dolphins would turn the corner quickly once we had a starting line on the field. It's great that it appeared to happen today, yet your post is more offensive than even the worst of the trolls lately. I mean, if I'm on your side and it's offensive....then it's pretty darn offensive to everyone.
the thing is, miami has had flashes of nice games every year. So TBH yeah i'll take the win and be happy but seeing as this happens every year i'll wait for this type of win CONSISTENTLY.
Pandarilla is going to Disney Land. That's how bad it's gotten around here. Btw today's win did not go unnoticed by Lamar Miller.
I'm happy fans around here have something to be happy about for once. But one thing mediocre teams do is lose to teams they shouldn't and then beat teams they shouldn't. Miami has been doing it for years now. I suspect this is still a very mediocre team, but here's hoping this is the beginning of Gase starting to get the ship righted. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to go naysay my *** over to my online sportsbook and bet a wad of money on the Bills...Because Miami NEVER beats the Bills. But I'll be thrilled to lose it if they do.
That was a trap game for the Patriots who have New England next week. I thought the Dolphins played great, makes you wonder WHY it took the team this long to make the changes we suggested weeks ago.
I'm not falling for it. They do this every year (Except maybe 2007). They beat someone they have no business beating for the sole purpose of dragging us deeping into a ****hole when it goes to **** next week. Not falling for it.
1 win as great as it was, is not curing me from being sceptical. I need to see consistency, no coming out and laying an egg against Buffalo this weekend.
