Ndamukong Suh praises new Miami Dolphins coach Dan Campbell, vows to ‘create havoc’

Suh said he enjoys Campbell’s energy, mindset and “the way he goes about his business.”
Suh added: “I think as a professional you can only respect the guy. I think he played in the NFL for 11 years and I think he understands being in our shoes previously. Obviously now being on the other side of the ball, if you want to say the other side of the ball, but being in a coaching role he understands how to mend the two together.”
Perhaps just as important, Suh said he has always “had a great relationship” with Lou Anarumo, and doesn’t anticipate that changing now that Anarumo has replaced Kevin Coyle as defensive coordinator.

I'm very hopeful they'll rock ass, and I fully expect them to look more hungry and motivated, but I'd like to see the play do the talking...at least for a little while.

Tin foil hat time....but I wonder if this has been TBaum's plan from the moment, Ross nixed firing Philbin and hiring Dan Quinn? Get Suh and have him help tank it until Ross fires Philbin.

I dont think anyone tanked, philbin is a terrible leader and coach, there was no gameplan other than dont shoot yourself in the foot. A conservative coach does not inspire players.

Apparently the 20 mil a year did nothing to motivate him... he will throw in the towel and pout if things don't go his way. He says the right things but actions speak louder. He brings zero intensity right now, and pretty much just carries a confused look on his face. I don't care how bad our coaches were... Suh has played like trash, and that's on him. I'm already sick of his 'silent douchebag, approach. Someone should give him a taste of his own medicine, but you can't expect a grown man to resort to kicking and throwing cheap shots like this Big primmadonna loser.

I see...so since the game is on Sunday....and you know they cant actually...DO ANYTHING UNTIL SUNDAY...youd prefer them to say nothing?

I swear I keep reading allot of people trashing Campbell because he shows fire and intensity, and then actually you know...communicates that intensity to the media. Yet most of you also railed on Philbin because he was so bland.
What is it you want? They cant DO A THING until the game starts.

Suh decided the philosophy/scheme wouldn't work and he decided the Dolphins would take the year off. Coaches are powerless to punish him in any way even if they're sure he's dogging it. The next coach will have to agree to run a defense that Suh likes. Suh is basically running the team right now.

You do realize he has no choice but to attend the press conferences, right? The media is going to ask him questions, he has to answer. He's a passionate guy, that's going to translate to his anwers.
finfansince72subscriberThe old coaching staff was terrible before Suh got here so blaming him for a tank job or for the poor coaching seems a bit outrageous. He certainly hasn't lived up to his contract after the first few games but he didn't make Coyle a ****ty Coordinator and he certainly isn't making the oline garbage or the running game non existent so he isn't the cause of all our ills.

He has to attend, yes, but he doesn't have to give the press anything...at ALL. I've always preferred the say-nothing-of-value line from coaches when talking to the media, that's all...be it positive or negative.

Got pretty sick and tired of Ndomukong Haynesworth about 3 weeks ago, when it became pretty clear what he was doing.
Headcoach material wouldn’t want to work somewhere they’re not trusted with actual football decisions.
