"Paul Potts"...hehehehehehehe. an unfortunate name.... like having the last name Fittler and naming your son "Adolph".
Meh ... Paul Potts had been singing amateur opera for eight years before singing on Britain's Got Talent. Then he sang "Nessun Dorma" again and again and again. He gave it a break on his semi-final before singing it one more time to win. Then, on this season of America's Got Talent (which I auditioned for), Similarly "undiscovered" schlub Neal Boyd won by singing (you guessed it) Nessun Dorma. I don't know anything about this new performer's story. But I am a bit jaded on the whole process.
So very true Celtkin there is no way to measure heart and talent by just looks. Thanks so much for the thread and I'm truly blown away.
I know what it's like. I mean, if you saw me on the street you'd think I was just some devastatingly handsome stranger getting out of a Ferrari. But deep down I'm also super intelligent, witty and hilarious. And I like puppies and long walks on the beach. Sadly, I must admit I saw a photo on MSN and thought this was some post-op or something. Good for her.
