The Lions have had a fairly strong secondary, and as you mentioned, there was clear evidence of player improvement. I would go beyond Slay as well, several other players have gotten stronger and more versatile in the last few years in the Detroit secondary. Solid pickup imo.

 

Oden has been credited with improving the play of Darius Slay and the rest of the Lions’ talented secondary.

However, it appears after four years with the Detroit Lions, his time is up. Given his reputation, there’s a good chance he finds a job elsewhere.
