Alright Ken Lavicka managed to interview Cam Wake, Sean Smith, Jared Odrick, Korey Sheets during their autograph session a couple of days ago: http://www.espn760.com/audiovault/dolphins.php# During this slow portion of the season KLV's Dolphins podcasts have been a fun diversion from the humdrum of MDC.com's short interviews of players. In other radio news, Michael Irvin has taken over the old Mandich/Stephens 12-3 radio slot on WQAM. The "official" Dolphins radio show, that replaces "Dolphins Tonight" is supposed to launch in August, have no idea who the hosts will be (I've heard Kannel/Madison and Guest hosts that rotate) but have heard it will air from 5pm-7pm year round
Padre , speaking of WQAM, do you still get "content unavailable in your area "? I can listen to archived interviews but not live. If anyone has any idea or clue on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Actually I have had trouble with QAM's streamer for weeks now but there are alternatives: http://radiotime.com/station/s_22112/WQAM_560.aspx The new dolphins radio show will be on either 790am or a FM station.
I know Bro, he was really good at it, that and pimping "Bokampers".. Eh, Ross is a pro marketer, Kimbo, afaik, was and is under contract with QAM, the new show has to have Clear Channel Employees. Kimbo and Crowder and his Mom was a lot of fun..not sure Kannel/Madison/whomever can match that sort of sitting at a Sports Bar and chatting with NFLers feel that "Dolphins Tonight" had in spades.
Padre, compadre I still get the same message. It is almost like they are saying you are from an area ( Canada ) that we are not allowing to listen live? This is odd as always worked till several weeks ago .... Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance.
I use mozilla as the browser , but the system is windows. I don't think that is the issue , more some proprietary decision .... why? I have no idea ...
I "think" QAM switched over to a format for their online streaming that requires silverlight, I'd think it has to do with easier tracking of the number of online listeners. Either way though, I guess QAM may have something against snowbirds?
As for the podcast itself, welll: -Kory Sheets believes he is the quickest back on the roster. -Odrick credited Big Ferg for helping him learn play recognition -Smith got ragged on for not having a INT in 09. -Cam Wake had the line of the podcast: "So JT had a whole sidebar in the sporting news about how you were primed to make people forget about him" "Heh, I think I still owe him money.."
