The gameplay was basic run and gun but I got to admit I loved the first one the story I really enjoyed. Definitely looking forward to this one.

Resistance was amazing online. In fact, it was way better than Halo.

Even better when you do a human vs. human custom without laarks and shotguns.

 

I got soooo addicted to the one hit shotty matches. Cant wait for 2.

 

I actually like run and gun better than the tactical shooters out there. I die too much with tactical shooters because I lose patience and end up running and gunning.

 

Yeah, run and gun with the carbine = my preference. Once you get comfortable with a sensitivity and master the headshot with the carbine, then you're going to be one hell of a player. Once I retired as a laark-n00b and mastered the carbine, Resistance became an amazing experience.

My k/d on Resistance was about 2.8 and on CoD4 I have like a 3.1 or so. Yet even with more success, CoD4 isn't even CLOSE to RFOM in terms of longevity. I retired that game after a few months. It lasted me from launch to about December-January before it got repetitive as hell. The lack of lobby system/custom game search = pathetic.

Insomniac FTW.

 

I need to make a friend with a PS3 so I can try this game out. The campaign looks pretty good
