Guys come on we have always been aqua and orange and that is what I bleed this is what is part of us and for anyone to change those colors it would be like cutting us and bleeding to death.

 

I was kinda joking about Any Given Sunday, but I actually do like the black uniforms. Looks tougher. But yes I understand the issue it causes with the weather. Maybe it can be worn for cold weather away games.

We'd look too much like the Raiders or the Falcons, hell even the Ravens, there's enough black in the league'd uniforms dept, I happen to dig the Aqua and Orange.

I love our home aquas on whites with black shoes, thats the best for me, i would like to see that navy blue that all the coaches and announcers wear implemented in for road uni's, idk, i have one of those navy blue uni's and its really nice i swear.

Perhaps I'm in the minority here, but I really don't care if they change uniforms/colors.

So long as they stay the Dolphins, I'll adapt.

Tradition and nostalgia don't win Super Bowls.

...and before someone says "Well, neither does change for changes sake," I know that. But sometimes change can be a great motivator.

As long as a little bit of the "tradition" is maintained, I'll stand behind this team the rest of my life. :up:

Thats interesting! You can't mess with the color combo. Its SoFla, Its what we are. But a contemporary update on the oldschool helmet could be interesting. and if the right design hit on the pants or jersey's why not. i LOVE our orange jerseys. i hope we sport those again soon.

 

I don't think unis make or break a team.
But, IMO, the Dolphins are what they are and their unis should be left alone.
I do love the '70's unis, but I honestly just love our colors, our logo and yes the tradition of the team.
When we take the field, we're noticeable. not like the other teams. All blah and ugly.
There's already to much black and green out there.
So, I think the thought of new unis (with a lot of change) or a new color scheme is stoooooopid.

 

We just need to go back to the original aqua iridescent jersey and, depending upon how the sun hits it, if you like orange, blue, aqua, wait a few minutes and your color will flash.

 

I just remember how great the team looked hitting the field in the '70's. They out-classed all the others. Plus the fact they whupped up on any one who tried to stop them.
Can you imagine someone going up and calling Zonk, Kiick or the others some of the names we get called now because of our colors? I think the jests call us names because their unis look like they came out of a diaper pail.:yes:

 

I can deal with the jerseys we have now. However,I hope I never see the orange ones ever again. I may be in the minority with that one but I just dont like them. Also,if we do change, I wouldnt mind going back to the 70`s either. Those jerseys bring my mind back to the Orange Bowl / A young Don Shula / Bob Griese wearing those very studious glasses / The dolphin in the endzone tank.....and a whole lotta other memories when the dolphins owned the AFC east.

That is better than "some" I have seen. And it is infinitely better than than those doubly accursed, forever to be banned orange monstrosities. However, I like a number of others, wish that, if we are to change anything, a return to the 70's uniforms. Those Miami Dolphins didn't give a flying fig whether your wore black, purple, red, or any other color. They came into your stadium in their white or aqua uniforms, and cleaned your clock. 'Nuff said about uniform colors.

 

I actually like the Teal on Teal uniforms. That would be my favorite of the current uniforms. How come they don't wear them that often? Maybe I just don't notice.
